When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via email/password or Google OAuth).
You may upload or create contact records for your congregation members, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, and custom notes.
Messages sent and received through WhatsApp, Instagram, and our live chat are stored to provide conversation history and analytics.
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
Payment processing is handled entirely by PayPal. We do not store credit card numbers or financial account details on our servers.
To operate, maintain, and improve the GroChurch platform, including AI-powered pastoral responses and campaign messaging.
To send you important service updates, security alerts, and support communications.
To understand usage patterns and improve our features, user experience, and platform performance.
To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and prevent fraud or abuse.
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
We implement strict role-based access controls. Only authorized personnel can access production systems.
GroChurch is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure (Supabase/AWS) with regular security audits and monitoring.
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by applicable regulations.
When you connect your WhatsApp Business Account or Instagram Professional Account, Meta processes messages according to their privacy policy. We access messages through official Meta APIs.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other data.
Payment processing is handled by PayPal. Your payment data is governed by PayPal's privacy policy. We only receive transaction confirmation details.
Our database and authentication infrastructure is powered by Supabase. Data is stored in compliance with SOC 2 Type II standards.
You can access your personal data at any time through your GroChurch dashboard or by contacting us.
You can update or correct your personal information through your account settings.
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@grochurch.com.
You can request a copy of your data in a portable format at any time.
You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time through your notification settings.
Our AI Pastoral Assistant uses your uploaded knowledge base and conversation context to generate responses. We do not use your congregation data to train our AI models.
Automated campaigns send messages based on schedules you create. You maintain full control over message content and recipient lists.
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data or congregation data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Conversation histories are retained to provide continuous service. Upon account deletion, all personal data and congregation records are permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
GroChurch uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. Analytics cookies are used solely to improve platform performance and user experience.
GroChurch is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information.
